Our College

The first Health Training School in Ethiopia, as stated in the history of Nursing, Menelik II Auxiliary Health Workers Training School (Currently Menelik -II Health Science College) is established in 1941E.C (1949 G.C). Since 1949 onward, the College moves progressive historical pathway to date. CHS has more than 30,000 alumni since 1949, providing high-quality care in health care and educational facilities throughout the nation, city administration, and the region. Wherever they serve, they are among the most accomplished, respected professionals in their fields. Currently, 29 programs runs by modalities and mode of curriculums by level IV, undergraduate and graduate programs with a total of 2000 students and 247 staffs.
